72 Virgins...
But of what gender?

From the koran;
52:24
There will circulate among them [servant] boys [especially] for them, as if they were pearls well-protected.

56:17
There will circulate among them young boys made eternal.

76:19
There will circulate among them young boys made eternal. When you see them, you would think them [as beautiful as] scattered pearls.
And what's been credited from everyone from the Turks to the Iraqis to the Egyptians (and not the German kind)... the following proverb;
A woman for duty.
A boy for pleasure.
A melon for ecstasy.
Speaking personally, I remember before we deployed to the Gulf War, we were told that homosexuality was common in the moslem world, especially among the Persian Gulf Arabs.

I didn't give much credence to this bit of info, until a Reservist was attached to our Command who grew up in Saudi Arabia (his father was an employee of ARAMCO). He told me that it was common to find young boys abandoned on the streets or in the desert with their rectums ruptured and bleeding profusely.

    Theirs is the religion of satan. That is a FACT.

    Thank you for posting this. Ugly and evil though it is, it is something that needs to be made known.

  2. a melon of ecstasy does refer to eating the melon as it is very hot in the desert and a water melon is a very cooling fruit. just to clarify things

  3. Hi blogger and all , I by chance saw this post while I’m browsing. My two cents on the above discussions as a Muslim lady, the meaning of this verse above is incorrect. The “boys” is literally translated into English. In the ancient time of Arab and still, the “weldan=as you translated it boys” means servants! No matter what their gender is. Generalizing beliefs about Muslim societies is illogical given the fact that human doings should not be measured by their faith. Every part of this world has its problems being national being individual etc. For the man who his father worked for Saudi Aramco and he had witnessed boys abandoned for such things, I say yes it is a society like any other society has its good and bad behaviors. We would never say we are “Utopia”. We as human being are good and we are also bad. For me, I always thought that Christianity as a heaven religion is respectful while holy Quran in the meaning says that the closest to Muslims are those who are Christians. Muslim societies have their social problems exactly like those of yours. People cannot be judged only by their faith! Yes true we have homosexuality in our societies but does this mean this is part of religion? I don’t think a heaven religion would encourage such wrong doings. God-Allah encourages us in the holy Quran to get to know each other and socialize with nations and build on earth and Jesus as well encouraged Christians to spread love and good. But unfortunately this era is full of hassles and hatred.

  4. Smiley,
    Much like the origins of this proverb, that's up for debate. But I do believe that it's difficult to stray from the first two being undoubtedly about sex, and the last one about slaking one's thirst.

  11. Caves, thanks for pointing out this abomination that is endemic to Mohammedism. It cannot be emphasized enough. It is enraging how the Vulgar Left completely ignore and overlook it.

  12. My husband says the same thing you guys are saying. His time in Iraq was spent having to do two jobs... his and theirs. As he said it "Ever since we gave them access to our computers for the Internet, all you find them doing is drooling, gawking and salivating over porn sites." He said he's never seen something so hypocritical and disgusting in his life as watching these supposed "men". Talk about reducing something so pleasurable and God-given into something nothing more than sheer animal behavior. Even dogs breed.

    Call me intolerant and trust me, I don't give a shit. But just don't tell me I have to accept that crap and call it good behavior that respects God. Ugg...

    Totally true, though I witnessed it in south-west Asia. When I was in Afghanistan army commanders in the Afghan National Army would bugger their subordinates for the smallest infractions. If the offence was against us they would offer their subordinate to us for similiar treatment ... disgusting!

  17. A prayer for the conversion of souls and the salvation of the Muslims, that they may find the true Light in Jesus Christ.

    Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our tresspasses, as we forgive those who have tresspassed against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from Evil.
    Amen.

    I don't want to see *anyone* go to Hell! Remember to offer up your sufferings for the conversion of souls and the salvation of our enemies.
